I'll link you (below) to a page full of stories from people who, like me, will never go back to any other candle after having found the PERFECT candles. But first, here is my story. Before I found the PERFECT candles, I had heard about the dangers of burning candles from 3 people:
So what was a candle lover supposed to do?? I was only burning one jar candle at a time -- that didn't seem like too much to me.
To be honest, I was never truly satisfied with the candles I was buying, anyway. They invariably 'tunneled' and I ended up having to dig around in them looking for the wicks -- usually losing the wick and throwing them out long before they had burned to the bottom. What a waste of money! Well, at least the scents were terrific... as long as you were standing right over the candle. I sometimes accidentally left candles burning because I'd forgotten about them... because I couldn't smell them (and I have a very sensitive nose). I tried every candle out there and figured that this was simply the way it was. None of this stopped me from burning candles, mind you; I just burned them less often. But for a candle lover, that's no fun.
And I especially love the way they burn evenly without my having to fuss with them... all the way to the bottom of the jar! The top surface becomes a liquid when burned about 3-4 hours, so there's no tunneling. No more lost wicks. The jar's unique design ensures a reliable burn to the bottom of the jar -- no venting lid is necessary. Best of all, it's nice to know that my walls, ceilings, air filters, smoke and CO detectors, picture frames, fixtures, and curtains no longer receive all of that soot. Most importantly, the air that I breathe is cleaner, too. I no longer see an asthma specialist, and I can't help but wonder if burning cleaner candles had something to do with it.* I have a pet bird, and I'm sure he appreciates my PERFECT CANDLES, too! Last week, I came home from an errand and my heart leapt into my throat, thinking I'd left the candle burning, because I was hit in the face with the Norwegian Wood scent when I walked into the house, but no -- I had burned one that morning and the fragrance was still in the air!
